Conflicts and Their Aftermath
For much of their recent histories, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, and the region of Kurdistan have been riddled with endless wars and political conflicts. As a result, there has been a steady degradation of the areas’ cultures and qualities of life, which we aim to portray with our various in-depth projects.
“Conflicts and Their Aftermath,” project which aims to shed light on the ongoing conflicts and political tensions in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, and the region of Kurdistan. Through the work of local photographers and journalists, this project will document the experiences and perspectives of people living in these regions, with a focus on the ongoing conflicts and their aftermath.
The Middle East has been plagued by conflict and political instability for much of its recent history, and this has had a devastating impact on the cultures and quality of life in many parts of the region.
