UNICEF Germany annually awards “UNICEF Photo of the Year Award” to photos that best describe the conditions and situations children in the world.
Younes Mohammad series “Open Wounds” was awarded third place, his series shows the Kurdish children along with fathers, wounded by fighting ISIS in Iraq.
